Certificate IV In Building And Construction (Building)

This course is recognised as an equivalent qualification for registration as a Domestic Builder. After completing this course, students are eligible for the Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building). This qualification is nationally recognised in accordance with the Australian Qualification Framework and is supported by the Building Practitioners Board (BPB).

Pre-requisites:

* Candidates must have 3 years relevant hands on experience in domestic building or an allied field
* Students must know how to use a computer and the Internet

* Candidates must complete an application questionnaire before enrolling. See Applicant Checklist. This checklist provides questions to identify gaps in students prior knowledge required to undertake this qualification. Teachers will provide feedback the first day of class.

* Candidates are also advised to contact the Building Practitioners Board on 1300 360 320 or visit www.buildingcommission.com.au for further information regarding eligibility and how to obtain the licence.

Course length:

There are two delivery options:
* Weekend classes: 17 weeks Fri 6-10pm and Sat 8.30am-5pm

* Week nights classes: 25 weeks Mon & Wed, Tues & Thurs or Mon & Tues 6-10pm

No classes over school holidays.
