DIY Skills

Don't pay high prices for tradesmen when you need odd jobs done around the house. Whether it's a short course in plastering a cracked ceiling, cement rendering, welding a broken chair, laying bricks for a new garden path or woodwork, a DIY short course will allow you to fix almost anything around your home.

Electronics

Electronics is the study of the flow of charge through various materials and devices such as, semiconductors, resistors, inductors, capacitors, nano-structures, and vacuum tubes. Our course will teach you theory behind circuitry and how electronics operate, as well as providing you with practical experience assembling your own circuit boards.

Heritage

Our heritage program has been developed to provide experienced tradespersons with the knowledge and practical skills required to work on historical buildings. The program focuses on the Burra Charter which outlines a standard of practice to advise clients, make building related decisions, undertake conservation and restore buildings of cultural significance. The charter is concerned with limiting changes to the overall historic character and the original fabric of the building relating to cathedrals, churches, government buildings, commercial and retail buildings, schools and mansions.
