Cookery

Our cooking short courses are always a hit with participants enjoying hands-on cooking in friendly and relaxed kitchens. You will be able to sample mouth watering recipes featuring dishes from Australia, India, Asia, Italy and around the world as you add to your recipe collection. Whether your interest is Asian curries with a difference, basic cooking including entrees, mains and dessert recipes or gourmet dinner party cooking you will find our cookery short courses offer plenty of variety. Recipes are always provided.

Food Safety

Holmesglen Short Courses offer a three-tiered food safety program that includes a competency based assessment process for each level within the food safety program. Each tier offers a course that specifically caters to the needs of the hospitality, retail, health and food processing sectors.

Hospitality

Most jobs in the Hospitality industry require workers to have quite specific skills - our short courses will prepare you for work in Restaurants, Bars and Hotels, Coffee shops and Cafes - in fact anywhere that skills in food and beverage services are required. Courses meeting legislative requirements include - Apply Basic Food Safety and Food Safety Supervisor courses and the RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol).
